Every player scored 0–100 on their per-80-minute output — carrying, defence and impact — ranked against others in their position and weighted for the strength of the competition they do it in. Right now that's Tommy Freeman on top.
Index built from World Rugby match data across the competitions Octafield tracks. Players need at least 3 matches and 160 minutes to be ranked. Scores are shrunk toward the average for small samples, so a couple of big games can't top a full season. Pick a competition above to switch from the overall career index to a form ranking for that competition alone (minimum 2 matches there). Set-piece and breakdown detail aren't in the per-player feed, so tight forwards are scored on their ball-carrying, defensive and impact output.
