Across 66 matches Lucchesi has built a profile defined by consistent defensive output, averaging over seven tackles per game and peaking at 22 in a single appearance, which points to a hooker who shoulders significant workload in the contact zone. His carrying numbers tell a similar story of steady rather than spectacular contribution, with an individual match high of 17 carries and 47 metres underlining his capacity to step up when the game demands it. Fourteen tries from this platform further reflect an ability to stay dangerous at close range despite the volume of work he puts in across a match.
