Across 14 appearances as a replacement, Mdanda's output is overwhelmingly defensive — his tackle numbers are the clearest signal of what he brings when introduced, averaging four per game with a single-match peak of twelve. His carry load is modest, suggesting his primary brief on arrival is to shore up the defence rather than carry ball. The consistency of that defensive contribution across four competitions points to a reliable, low-risk option in the back end of matches.
Born on 9 March 2003, Mawande is 23 years old, stands 191cm (6′3″) tall and weighs 109kg.
