Across five URC appearances, Mkhabela operates as a compact, low-impact carrier who prioritises game management over territorial gain through the hands. His tackle contribution stands out relative to his carrying load, suggesting he commits defensively when called upon rather than seeking the ball as a running threat. His best individual performance — three tackles and 12 metres from two carries — points to a player capable of lifting his output when the game demands it.
Zee Mkhabela is a professional rugby union scrum-half registered with the Sharks, the Durban-based franchise. He forms part of the matchday squad and is tasked with dictating tempo from the base of the ruck.
As a scrum-half, Zee features for the Sharks across the United Rugby Championship, the Currie Cup and European club competition, with home fixtures played at Hollywoodbets Kings Park in Durban.
