Across nearly 2,500 minutes of action, Ioane averages over 32 metres per match with the ball in hand, pointing to a wing who earns his carries and makes them count rather than being a peripheral figure. His 16 tries from 47 matches underlines a reliable finishing rate, while single-game peaks of 14 carries and 116 metres suggest he can shoulder a much heavier attacking load when required. At under three tackles per match he is used primarily as an attacking weapon, though his best defensive outings show he is no liability when called upon.
