Purchase contributes consistently on both sides of the ball, averaging nearly six carries and six tackles per match across Currie Cup and URC appearances. His defensive output stands out as a defining trait, with an 11-tackle single-game peak underlining his willingness to put in the hard yards in the centres. While his carry numbers are steady rather than explosive, he maintains a functional gain-line presence across his minutes on the field.
Janco Purchase is a professional rugby union centre registered with the Sharks, the Durban-based franchise. He forms part of the matchday squad and is tasked with combining midfield defence with attacking distribution.
