Across 28 United Rugby Championship appearances, Lombard has built a profile defined by reliable involvement on both sides of the ball, averaging over four tackles and three and a half carries per game. His carrying numbers show steady accumulation rather than explosive bursts, pointing to a fly half who prioritises continuity and structure over individual line-breaks. Peaks of 13 carries and 12 tackles in single matches demonstrate that he can lift his output significantly when the game demands it.
