Across 25 matches, Ortombina's tackle output stands as his defining contribution — averaging nearly 12 per game and peaking at 34 in a single outing, numbers that point to a lock who carries significant defensive responsibility at this level. His carrying is steady rather than explosive, providing consistent front-foot ball in the tight rather than line-breaking impact. The combination of high minutes and sustained tackle volume suggests a player built for the grind of forward exchanges across competitions.
