Tanga is a high-usage Number 8 who consistently tops double-digit carries per match, accumulating close to a thousand metres across 35 appearances — a workload that marks him as a primary go-forward option in the pack. His tackle numbers are steady rather than spectacular, but his peak outputs of 27 carries and 13 tackles in a single match show he can dominate on both sides of the ball when the game demands it. Eight tries across the dataset add a genuine attacking threat to what is already a demanding carrying and defensive role.
Yoan Tanga is a professional rugby union number 8 registered with the Stade Francais Paris, the South Africa-based franchise. He forms part of the matchday squad and is tasked with linking the forwards and backs from the base of the scrum.
