Across 59 matches Goosen has established himself as a high-volume ball-carrier whose consistent meterage gain signals a player central to his team's attacking structure rather than a peripheral finisher. His tackle numbers are modest on average but his single-game peak of 12 suggests he can absorb significant defensive workload when required. Eight tries across that sample reflects an efficiency in finishing rather than a primary try-scoring brief.
