Across four appearances as a replacement for Moana Pasifika, Maka has contributed most consistently through his tackling, averaging close to three tackles per outing in limited minutes. His carrying is infrequent but can produce meaningful metres when called upon, with a best single-game return of 10 metres from one carry. The pattern points to a finisher used primarily to shore up defence rather than carry the ball.
