Bowen's try return across 26 appearances points to a wing who consistently finds the line when opportunities arrive, while his carrying numbers show he is no passenger — averaging meaningful metres per match and capable of bursting past 100 metres in a single outing. His tackle contributions are modest on a per-game basis, as you would expect from a wide back, yet his best defensive showings demonstrate he can be called upon to do defensive work when required.
