Across 23 appearances as a replacement, Jacobs has built a reputation as a high-volume tackler, averaging over five tackles per outing and peaking at 14 in a single game. His carrying numbers are modest but functional, suggesting his primary value lies in defensive solidity rather than ball-in-hand impact. The consistency of his work-rate across both Champions Cup and Top 14 competition points to a player who hits the ground running whenever introduced.
