Across 81 matches, Lousi's tackle numbers stand out as his defining trait — averaging over 11 per game, with a single-match peak of 26, he is a consistent defensive workhorse at lock. He contributes reliably with ball in hand too, and his eight tries show he is not merely a grinder but someone who gets over the line when it counts. The volume of minutes accumulated speaks to his durability and regular involvement at the highest levels of the club and international game.
Sam Lousi is a professional rugby union lock registered with the Scarlets, the South Africa-based franchise. He forms part of the matchday squad and is tasked with winning lineout ball and adding grunt in the second row.
