Across 28 appearances as a replacement, Lotrian's tackle numbers stand out as his clearest calling card — averaging over six per match and peaking at 16 in a single game, he brings immediate defensive intensity whenever he enters the field. His carrying is measured rather than prolific, suggesting his primary impact is in contest and containment rather than ball-in-hand gain. The consistency of those contributions across both Champions Cup and Top 14 rugby points to a reliable, defence-first option from the bench.
