Across 33 matches Love has shown a consistent appetite to engage with ball in hand, averaging over five carries per game and accumulating more than a thousand metres in the process — numbers that point to a ten who is prepared to put himself into contact rather than purely distribute. His seven tries across the dataset reflect the threat he poses when he gets into space, while his tackle contribution, though modest by positional standards, suggests he stays connected to the defensive line when required.
Ruben Love is a professional rugby union fly-half registered with the Hurricanes, the South Africa-based franchise. He forms part of the matchday squad and is tasked with running the backline and steering the kicking game.
