Across six matches de Haas shows a controlled, measured involvement in the carry game, consistently gaining ground at a reliable rate that suggests purposeful running lines rather than speculative ball-in-hand work. His tackle numbers are modest on average, yet his best single-game output of four tackles indicates he can contribute meaningfully in defence when the match demands it. The combination of disciplined carries and that defensive capability points to a scrum half who manages the game within a structured system.
