Across 31 matches, Du Preez's tackle volume stands out most — averaging over five per game and peaking at 18 in a single outing, he is a consistent defensive presence at centre. His carrying is modest in frequency but functional, with a best game of 11 carries for 49 metres suggesting he can step up when the team needs ball-in-hand output. Four tries across this dataset indicate he is not a primary finisher, but his workload points to a player valued for structure and defensive reliability rather than attacking flair.
