Across 22 matches, Costes has established himself as a consistent, workmanlike centre who contributes steadily on both sides of the ball. His carrying numbers reflect a player trusted to hold the line and gain ground through contact rather than flash, while his tackling output — peaking at 21 in a single game — points to genuine defensive responsibility within the structure. The combination of sustained minutes and consistent per-game contributions suggests a player who earns his place through reliability.
