Lewis's numbers tell the story of a centre whose primary value sits on the defensive side of the ball — his tackle counts are consistently high, peaking at 13 in a single match, which points to someone who operates deep in defensive structures and makes himself available across wide channels. His carrying is measured rather than prolific, but he generates useful metres per touch, suggesting he picks his moments with purpose rather than chasing contact indiscriminately. Across six matches in competitive environments, his workload in defence far outweighs his offensive output, defining him clearly as a defence-first midfielder.
