Across 10 URC appearances McNulty has established himself as a reliable ball-carrier, averaging over five carries and close to 37 metres per match from full back. His try-scoring return and ability to peak at 12 carries and 78 metres in a single game indicate he can shift from steady contributor to primary attacking outlet when given the opportunity. His defensive workload is modest, suggesting his primary value in this system is built around what he offers with ball in hand.
