Hartley's numbers paint the picture of a centre who contributes consistently on both sides of the ball, averaging close to six carries and six tackles per match across Premiership and Champions Cup football. His defensive output stands out in particular, with nearly 95 tackles across 16 appearances pointing to a player who takes on serious workload in the middle channels. His peak performances — including 13 carries and 11 tackles in a single game — suggest he can step up his influence when called upon.
