Varotto consistently makes his limited pitch time count, averaging over 20 metres per carry opportunity across seven appearances and demonstrating a sharp eye for the try line with three scores. His carrying numbers suggest a player used in targeted bursts rather than as a volume ball-carrier, yet the yardage he generates in those moments is notably high. His best single-game output — five carries for 54 metres — underlines the threat he can pose when given a sustained run of involvement.
