Schonert's numbers tell a clear story: tackling is the backbone of his game, averaging over six per match across his Top 14 appearances and peaking at 13 in a single outing. His carrying is minimal and functional, suggesting his primary value lies in defensive structure rather than ball-in-hand contribution. He logs consistent minutes, pointing to a prop who earns his place through reliability at the breakdown and in the defensive line.
