Zwelendaba is a high-volume contributor on both sides of the ball, averaging nearly seven carries and seven tackles per match across 15 appearances — numbers that point to a player central to his team's structures rather than a peripheral one. His carrying game produces steady, reliable metres rather than explosive bursts, while his tackle output reaches as high as 19 in a single game, underscoring his defensive commitment. Across close to 1 000 minutes of rugby, that consistency is his defining trait.
Mnombo Zwelendaba is a professional rugby union centre registered with the Griquas, the South Africa-based franchise. He forms part of the matchday squad and is tasked with combining midfield defence with attacking distribution.
