Diaby's numbers paint a picture of a flanker built around defensive volume — averaging over six tackles per match across 23 appearances in three competitions points to a player who is consistently asked to do the hard yards in contact. His carrying load is modest but purposeful, with single-game peaks of nine carries and 28 metres suggesting he can step up his involvement when the team needs it. He offers the kind of reliable, high-minute consistency that holds a forward pack together across a long campaign.
