Tambwe's 771 metres across 106 carries point to a winger used regularly in the contact game rather than a pure finisher waiting for space on the edge. His tackle numbers are notably high for the position, with a best of eight in a single match, suggesting coaches trust him to contribute defensively as well as with ball in hand. His peak output of 102 metres and 12 carries in a game shows he can impose himself when given the opportunity.
