Across 12 Super Rugby appearances, Coombes-Fabling contributes consistently both with and without the ball, averaging close to six carries and nearly six tackles per match. His carrying numbers point to an active involvement in the attack rather than a peripheral role, and his best outings — pushing past 100 metres and reaching double figures in tackles — show he can absorb a heavy workload when required. The combination of steady defensive output and meaningful metres gained marks him as a dependable presence at the back.
