Across 22 appearances as a replacement, Michaux has built a profile defined almost entirely by defensive output, averaging over four tackles per match and reaching 13 in a single game. His carrying numbers are modest by design, reflecting the limited ball-in-hand opportunities typical of his role, though he has shown the ability to make an impact when called upon with a best of 6 carries for 25 metres. The consistency of his defensive contribution across Champions Cup, Top 14, and World Rugby U20 Championship football points to a player who arrives off the bench ready to work.
