Across 68 matches, Giles combines a sharp try-scoring record with consistent carrying volume, averaging close to 40 metres per game and demonstrating the ability to peak well beyond that in standout performances. His tackle numbers are notably high for a wing, suggesting he is asked to contribute meaningfully in defence rather than being sheltered on the edge. The gap between his typical output and his best individual displays points to a player capable of lifting significantly when conditions or match situations demand it.
