Across 62 matches in top-tier competition, Brex shows up as a consistent two-way threat in the midfield — his carry volumes and metres gained reflect a centre who regularly puts himself into contact and drives territory for his side. His tackling numbers are equally telling, averaging close to five tackles per game with a single-match peak of 17, which points to someone who shoulders real defensive responsibility rather than drifting to the fringes. The try return adds a finishing dimension to what is, at its core, a high-workload, team-first centre game.
