Leotlela contributes meaningfully on both sides of the ball across his five Currie Cup appearances, averaging over four tackles per match for a winger — a figure that points to consistent defensive involvement. His carrying numbers tell a complementary story: while his per-game volume is modest, his best outings show the capacity to break well past his average metreage, suggesting he can shift momentum when given the opportunity. The combination of reliable defence and periodic attacking impact reflects a winger operating with clear tactical discipline within the Stormers XXIII system.
