Across 55 matches, Kotze's tackle numbers stand out as his most consistent contribution, averaging over four per game with a single-game peak of 11, pointing to a hooker who prioritises defensive duty. His carry load is modest but purposeful, and his four tries across the dataset show he can threaten the line when called upon. The volume of minutes accumulated across four competitions reflects the kind of dependable, low-profile impact that keeps a forward in consistent selection contention.
