Across 37 appearances for Castres Olympique in the Champions Cup and Top 14, Fernandez has built a consistent record as a replacement, contributing steadily in both the carry and the defensive channels. His tackling numbers stand out as a particular strength, with peaks of 11 tackles in a single game underlining his ability to make an immediate defensive impact when introduced. While his carrying role is measured rather than dominant, his best outings — reaching 43 metres and 10 carries — show he can extend his influence in attack when called upon.
