Across four appearances in three competitions, Verity-Amm functions primarily as a running threat from full back, averaging over 30 metres per match from fewer than five carries — an efficient return that points to purposeful, well-timed involvement rather than high volume. His defensive numbers are modest, suggesting he operates in a system that shields him and funnels his energy into attack. His best outing — 12 carries and 88 metres — shows the ceiling when he is given the ball consistently.
James Verity-Amm is a professional rugby union fullback registered with the Cheetahs, the Bloemfontein-based franchise. He forms part of the matchday squad and is tasked with covering the back field and counter-attacking from deep.
