Across 71 matches, Botham averages over eleven tackles per game alongside more than six carries, a combination that points to a genuinely two-sided contribution at the breakdown and beyond. His peak outputs — 31 tackles and 15 carries in single matches — confirm he can shoulder an exceptional workload when the game demands it. Fourteen tries from a forward also signals an ability to arrive at the right moments in attack.
