Maddocks is a consistent attacking presence at full back, averaging over eight carries per match and accumulating more than a kilometre of ground across 24 appearances — numbers that point to a player regularly involved in the phase game rather than limited to a last-resort role. His nine tries across the dataset reinforce that his carry volume translates into genuine threat, while single-game peaks of 14 carries and 147 metres suggest he can shift his output significantly when the match demands it. Defensively he is modest in tackle count, which reflects his attacking responsibility more than any obvious liability.
