Across 23 appearances as a replacement, Innard has built a profile defined above all by his defensive output, averaging over seven tackles per game and reaching 16 in a single match. His carrying is measured rather than explosive, but he consistently adds metres when introduced, with a best of 37 in one outing suggesting he can impose himself when given the opportunity. The data points to a player who earns his minutes through defensive reliability and disciplined work at the gain line.
