Across 69 matches, Carty logs over five tackles per game for a fly half — a figure that speaks to consistent defensive involvement rather than a player who shelters in attack. His carrying numbers are modest on a per-game basis, suggesting his primary function is to direct rather than to carry, yet peak performances of 10 carries and 14 tackles in a single match confirm he can take on a heavier physical load when the game demands it. The volume of minutes accumulated points to a player who features regularly and goes the full distance.
