Across 34 matches, Aptsiauri's tackle numbers stand out as his defining contribution — nearly seven per game reflects the kind of disciplined defensive workload you expect from a prop who rarely misses a shift. His carrying is measured rather than dominant, but a single-game peak of eight carries and 25 metres shows he can impose himself when the game demands it. He is the sort of forward whose value is felt in the grind rather than the highlights.
