Across 12 appearances as a replacement, Jones has shown a consistent ability to make his minutes count, averaging over 25 metres per game from the carry and demonstrating genuine ball-carrying threat that peaks sharply — his best outing yielded 95 metres and 14 carries, underlining the kind of impact shift he can provide. His tackle numbers are modest on a per-game basis, suggesting his primary value lies in injecting momentum with ball in hand rather than as a defensive linchpin.
