Across 36 matches as a replacement, Ruiz consistently arrives off the bench ready to work, averaging over five tackles and more than four carries per appearance. His best outings push well into double figures for both carries and tackles, signalling a player who can shift the tempo of a game in a short window. Six tries from a forward in that role adds a finishing dimension that goes beyond the grunt work his numbers already confirm.
