Across 17 matches, Habel-Kuffner consistently shoulders a high defensive load, averaging over seven tackles per game with single-match peaks of 20 — figures that point to a number 8 who is central to his side's defensive structure. His carrying game is steady rather than explosive, contributing reliably through contact with over 330 metres gained from 86 carries, and his best outings show he can combine double-digit carries with a full defensive shift in the same match.
