Across 37 appearances as a replacement, Melikidze contributes most consistently through his defensive work, averaging over five tackles per match with single-game peaks of 12 — numbers that point to an athlete trusted to come on and immediately compete at the breakdown and in the collisions. His carrying is measured rather than high-volume, yet he has converted ten tries from limited ball-in-hand opportunities, suggesting he makes his touches count. The overall picture is of a specialist impact player who earns his minutes through defensive reliability and clinical finishing rather than sheer carrying load.
