Across nine Currie Cup appearances as a replacement, Cupido has shown reliable ball-carrying ability, averaging over 26 metres per outing from a modest number of touches. His best performances demonstrate genuine impact potential, reaching double figures in carries and near-70 metres gained in a single game. He contributes defensively without being prolific, suggesting a role focused primarily on providing hard metres off the bench.
