Across 11 appearances as a replacement, Lombard consistently contributes with ball in hand, averaging over three carries and 16 metres per outing — figures that point to a player trusted to carry with purpose in limited time. His best individual performances, reaching nine carries and 59 metres in a single game, demonstrate he can stretch that contribution significantly when given the opportunity. Defensively he remains engaged, chipping in with tackles at a steady rate across all three competitions.
