Across seven appearances off the bench, Kretchmann contributes more consistently through his defensive work than his ball-carrying, averaging two tackles per outing and reaching six in his best performance. His carrying is selective rather than frequent, but he has shown the capacity to make genuine ground when called upon, posting 30 metres from four carries in a standout display. The numbers reflect a replacement who prioritises defensive solidity while offering a composed, if limited, attacking option.
