Across 10 appearances as a replacement, Hawley's output is defined by his defensive contribution, averaging over three tackles per outing and reaching eight in a single game. His carrying is measured and purposeful rather than frequent, suggesting his primary value when introduced is to shore up the defensive line. His best individual performance hints at the ceiling he can reach when given extended minutes.
