Gorrissen's numbers paint a picture of a workhorse flanker who earns his minutes through consistency at the breakdown and in defence, averaging over eight tackles per match across nine appearances in three competitions. His carrying is purposeful rather than flashy, consistently eating into opposition territory while his peak performances — 15 tackles and 12 carries in a single game — show he can raise his output significantly when the contest demands it. The tries on his ledger add an attacking dimension that prevents opponents from parking him strictly as a defensive resource.
