Fakatava contributes consistently with ball in hand, averaging close to three and a half carries per match and accumulating meaningful metres at the gain line across his 20 Super Rugby appearances. His tackle numbers reflect a scrum half who commits actively to defensive duties, and his peak performances — reaching double figures in both carries and tackles within a single game — suggest he can step up his work rate considerably when the match demands it. The absence of tries points to a role built around service and system rather than individual attacking threat.
